I am a trained artist and pull these skills into my work. I am also passionate about neurobiology. I tie these two seemingly different — though they are not that different — approaches together to help you uncover the tools you have to change. I have a sense of humor and enjoy bringing levity into my work. I am also finding that I truly enjoy working with kids. They bring a level of challenge, joy, and excitement to individual work that I find thoroughly enjoyable.
MY APPROACH TO THERAPY
I am a holistic therapist with a background in art therapy and neurobiology. Together we approach whatever problem you bring to the table with empathy, understanding, and humor. My goals in therapy are to help you understand more about your own drives, find ways to increase your connections with others, and make changes to your life that feel true to your nature. I often work well with individuals who are struggling with a history of trauma or those who are looking to bring lasting change into their lives. I have a master's degree in clinical counseling and art therapy. I am also EMDR trained and a certified clinical trauma professional. I am trained in art therapy with a focus on interpersonal neurobiology and am also training as an addictions therapist. I draw upon Jungian and Adlerian modalities for my therapeutic approach.
FUN FACTS
I love to paint and explore a variety of creative expressions. I have dogs, chickens, and the occasional cat. I have done some exciting travel and am looking forward to more.
